First, the difference of the crushing cavity
The impact crusher has a large crushing chamber, and its feed port is relatively large and low. Second, the hammer / hammer head action direction is different
In the interior of the impact crusher, the hammer is rushing to pick up the material from bottom to top, and throws the material onto the impact plate above, while the hammer crusher strikes the broken material in the direction in which the material falls. In summary, in the interior of the impact crusher, the rotor runs clockwise, the hammer strikes the material from bottom to top, and inside the hammer, the rotor runs counterclockwise, and the hammer hits in the direction in which the material falls;
Third, the wearing parts wear is different
Whether it is for the impact crusher or the hammer crusher, the hammer and the hammer head are the main wear parts. For the impact crusher, the wear of the hammer mainly appears on the side facing the material. The metal utilization rate of bismuth can reach 45%-48%. For the hammer crusher, the hammer head is in a suspended state, and the wear occurs on the upper, the front, the back and the side. Compared with the hammer, the hammer wear is more serious, and the metal is worn. The utilization rate is around 35%;
Fourth, different discharge adjustment methods
Both types of crushing equipment can adjust the size of the finished product. For the impact crusher, there is no grate screen in the lower part. The adjustment of the product particle size is mainly by adjusting the rotor speed or rotor diameter and adjusting the feeder opening. The size and the method of adjusting the gap of the grinding chamber are controlled. For the hammer crusher, the adjustment of the particle size of the finished product can be controlled by adjusting the size of the gap of the sieve plate. According to this situation, the impact crusher can more effectively deal with water content of the larger material and avoid jam;
Fifth, the rotor link is different
In the interior of the impact crusher, the hammer and the rotor are rigidly linked, that is, the hammer is fixedly mounted on the rotor, and the inertia of the entire rotor can be fully utilized to impact the material during the crushing, which has great speed and kinetic energy. The hammer of the hammer crusher is a single material that is broken (the head is suspended) and has limited speed and kinetic energy.
