Jaw crusher is a large machine, and it needs lubrication in the daily working period to reduce the abrasion and rusty of the spare parts. When the crusher machine used for a long time, it will be easier to be influenced by the weather, which would be cause many problem in the later work. In order to make sure that the jaw crusher can work normally after long time idle, what maintenance should be done in this period? Following, the expert from Luoyang Dahua will give you the suggestion:
Firstly: Because the jaw crusher is made of steel, the basic maintenance is to avoid it from rusting. Firstly, the parts on the surface of the crusher that come off the paint should be repaired, and then the parts inside the machine should be coated with rust-proof oil, and lubricating oil should be added between parts and between bearings regularly to ensure the normal operation of the equipment at the next start-up.
Secondly: Pay attention to the jaw crusher storage location. The crusher should be stored in a dry and ventilated place as far as possible to avoid oxidation and rust of the crusher caused by humidity. At the same time pay attention to the influence of rain and snow weather, to cover the equipment with cloth cover, to avoid rain, dust damage to the crusher.
Thirdly: Before storage, the crusher shall conduct a comprehensive inspection and cleaning to check whether there are sundries on the inner wall of the crushing chamber and whether the parts are cleaned. The cooling water in the engine shall be discharged and the engine oil shall be replaced. The fuel tank shall be filled with diesel oil to prevent rust.
The above three points are the summary on crusher equipment that should be pay attention in idle time. Reasonable maintenance of gravel crusher equipment can not only extend the service life of equipment, but also improve the production efficiency, and reduce the cost of investment.
